We set this wooden dog house out on the patio, and it fits right into our backyard setup. Our dogs like having a place of their own between running around and hanging out with us outside. It’s roomy enough for everyday rest, looks nice by the house, and gives them a shaded outdoor spot when they want to take a break.

This outdoor dog house is assembled close to where you plan to keep it. The lift-up roof is one of my favorite parts because I can reach inside, add a dog bed or blanket, and clean it out without crawling through the front door. Once it’s put together, it feels like a practical backyard shelter for daily use.
